Description
Project implementation will allow for creation of a national GRID-infrastructure and for its integration into European GRID-infrastructure, EGEE (Enabling Grids for E-sciencE). At that, remote access to world collection of scientific data is provided, possibilities of effective common usage of supercomputers, unique experimental units and equipment are realized; moreover, regional resource centers for the issues of GRID support, maintenance and control are created. The possibilities of creating joint projects in the framework of international virtual organizations of Ukrainian scientists and their foreign counterparts emerge, these projects being in the fields of sustainable development, geophysics and engineering computerization while GRID provides their informational support.
